I met Nicolas over a decade ago when we both worked at Tommy & Lefebvre. I was SO excited to receive a message from him out of the blue saying he was getting hitched…and it was a month away! We immediately scheduled a meeting and I met his LOVELY bride to be Ellen. We had a great time getting to know each other and planning for their big day.
Ellen and Nicolas planned the perfect intimate wedding surrounded by their closest family and friends. The gorgeous ceremony was held at the Protection of the Holy Virgin Memorial Church and the ceremony was led by Ellen’s brother.
After the ceremony I stole the bride and groom and we photographed the bridal portraits along the Ottawa river parkway. I am so accustomed to having a big bridal parties this intimate couple only session was so relaxing and fun.
The evening party kicked off at the Sussex Contemporary – which if you haven’t been check it out! It’s a gorgeous venue in the market. We wrapped up the night with great food, speeches, family slideshow and dancing.
It was a perfect day for a amazing couple.
